A formal announcement about recreational marijuana in our neighboring state of Vermont is set to come at noon today.
Gov. Phil Scott faces an end-of-the-day deadline to either sign or veto legislation that allows those over 21 to possess small amounts of pot, and up to two plants on their property.
Scott also has the option of allowing the bill to become law without his signature. If Scott signs the bill, Vermont would be the 9th state to legalize recreational marijuana....the first to do so under the legislative process.
