The NY State Assembly has approved a bill fast-tracking ride-sharing in Upstate New York.

The bill allows companies like Uber and Lyft to begin operating on June 29th instead of the original proposal of July 9th. That means it will be available for the 4th of July holiday.

Governor Cuomo is expected to sign the measure.
