Siena Poll: Upstate Support for President Trump Wanes

A new poll from the Siena Research Institute says President Trump has the worst favorability numbers In New York since the election. 

Statewide, he's viewed unfavorably by 65% of registered voters.  Upstate that number is 63%.

As for job performance, 70% give him a thumbs down in Upstate.

60% of upstate voters say the country is moving in the wrong direction.

*This Siena College Poll was conducted May 15-21, 2017 by telephone calls conducted in English to 770 New York State registered voters. Respondent sampling was initiated by asking for the youngest male in the household. It has an overall margin of error of + 4.0 percentage points including the design effects resulting from weighting.
