Yeah....I said it. The former New York State Assembly Speaker violated the public trust, filled his pockets with $5 million, used some of that money to hire the best lawyers around and got off on a technicality. The bottom line: the courts have now made it very difficult to PROVE corruption by public officials even when it's obvious to most of us that these slimeballs are up to no good.
