Actress Cynthia Nixon says she's heard the rumors that she will run for governor in New York next year.
The "Sex And The City" star told the "Today" show she thinks people would support a potential campaign.
“You know I think there are a lot of people, who would like me to run, and I think for a variety of reasons, but I think the number one is education.”
But, Nixon stopped short of confirming that she will challenge incumbent Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary.
As far as education, Nixon criticized Cuomo for boasting that New York spends more per student than any other state, pointing out that much of the money is spent on the wealthiest districts.
