Kevin Will Jr. started kindergarten this week and he was escorted to school by over 100 police officers. His father, who was also an officer, died when he was hit by a drunk driver. So the police force vowed to always be there for the boy during the important days. This was one of them.

A truck driver has a reporter to thank for saving his life. Brandi Smith and her cameraman were in the field reporting when she spotted a big rig truck mostly submerged in flood waters. She ends up flagging down Harris County Sheriff's who went on the rescue mission.
