New York Bans Vaping Wherever Tobacco is Prohibited

E-Cigarettes are now banned all across New York wherever tobacco is prohibited.  Governor Cuomo signed a bill Monday banning vaping in bars, restaurants, or workplaces, essentially any place in the state where smoking real cigarettes is against the law.

The ban on e-cigarettes is an extension of New York's Clean Indoor Air Act which was approved in 2003.

The ban goes into effect a month from now.  Cuomo says he hopes it'll reduce the growing popularity of vaping among New York teens
