A, "Boots to Business" class at Watervliet Arsenal propels a Rensselaer County veteran into the flag-making business.
Anthony Guadagnino of Veteran Made Woodworks tells News Channel 13 he made his first customer, a fellow veteran, a handcrafted wooden flag, as a thank you for helping work on his house.
"And the first flag that went to him, and it's too funny, because our flags are top notch, that was the first one, and we kind of critique it right now, but it was originally from pallets."
Two years later, Veteran Made Woodworks now sells 60 to 80 flags each month.
