Time once again to stone the crows, or at least, scare them out of downtown Albany.
Starting today, wildlife biologists will use a variety of non-lethal, but very loud, techniques to drive away the thousands of crows who gather in the city at this time of year. Plan involves things like fireworks, spotlights, non-harmful lasers, and recorded calls of crows in distress designed to convince them to fly away.
City officials say people should be prepared for loud noises and flashing lights.
