Hotline Set Up to Report Sexual Harassment in New York Government

The New York Chapter of the National Organization for Women has launched a whistleblower hotline for women...and men...to report sexual harassment in New York State Government.  Chapter president Sonia Ossorio says the idea came to them after the Harvey Weinstein scandal surfaced and since its launch the calls have been coming in.

Ossorio says that victims who call the hotline are being offered counseling resources,  referrals for attorneys, and information on how to navigate the system if they want to file a complaint.

Anyone who would like to call can reach the hotline at 518-362-7857.  More information is also found at nownys.org.
