More than a dozen people are facing criminal charges in the aftermath of a big party in late November that resulted in tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage to a home on Randall Road in the town of Ballston.
Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says deputies thought they were responding to a burglary on November 25th, but what they found was a large underage drinking party. Deputies say numerous items were stolen from the home, and two of the party-goers set off a fire extinguisher.
James Schmidt of Ballston Spa was charged with supplying alcohol, and is also facing charges of taking another person's car without their consent.
The majority of those arrested were under 21. All have been charged with felony criminal mischief.
