Some former Albany County Jail inmates are giving back to current inmates and spreading some holiday cheer.
Volunteers for the Ignite for Life program distributed Christmas bags yesterday.
Some volunteers, like Charlie Jubrey, attended the inmate-focused program through Victory Christian Church, as inmates.
He tells News Channel 13 he hopes to have a positive impact on current inmates.
"To share my story with guys that are here and giving them a sense of hope."
The bags were decorated by students from Loudonville Christian School, and filled with candy and snacks.
Volunteer Marty Stanton also spoke with News Channel 13, and adds that the children's dedication toward this program is incredible.
"It touches these inmates that the children thought that much about them."
His Christian ministry group holds Sunday church services at the jail to help inmates get on a better path.
