I guess it's okay to fat shame now. Following the results of President Trump's physical exam, which said he should lose more than just a couple of pounds, a lot of people... especially on the "left"... are gleefully taunting and ridiculing him, giving birth to what some are calling the "Girther Movement".
Frankly, I don't stay awake at night worrying about people saying mean things about Trump. He can defend himself and he sure isn't afraid to hammer people including criticizing their looks. What I do find a bit unsavory, is a lack of consistency. If you're against fat-shaming, then be against it. Don't be a hypocrite.
Kelly and I talked about that this morning and also about the President's "Fake News" awards. I was in the news business for over 30 years. Reporters generally don't just make things up (although there have been some examples of that) but there's certainly a lot of shoddy reporting and blatant bias evident in far too many news organizations. - Chuck
