Friday night some Capital Region teens are getting a special night to shine.
Night to Shine, which is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation works with host churches to provide a prom night experience for teens living with special needs. This year 115 teens their dates will enjoy the red carpet treatment, complete with hair and makeup stations, a shoe shine area, corsages and boutonnieres, dinner (courtesy of Mazzone Catering,) dancing, karaoke...and even Respite Room for parents and caretakers. More than 240 volunteers are making it happen at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Albany.
500 churches in 50 states and 16 countries host a Night to Shine.
