Teen Arrested in Possible Threat at Berlin High School

A 17-year-old has been charged with harassment in connection with a possible threat at Berlin High School in Rensselaer County.

Police say the teen said something inappropriate about the Florida school shooting, and the comment ended up on Snapchat.  Another student is said to have told school officials after seeing the post.

While there were extra patrols this morning, police say they determined early on that there was no credible threat.

The teen is being treated as a minor, and is in the custody of his mother.
