A Schenectady County jury has found former City of Schenectady Housing Inspector Kenneth Tyree not guilty on all 4 counts of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide in connection to the March 2015 fire on Jay Street in the city that killed 4 people and injured dozens of others.
Tyree was found guilty of filing a false instrument, lying on his job application. Courtroom observers say that Tyree was visibly emotional and weeping after being acquitted of those manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide charges.
March 6th marks the third anniversary of the deadly fire.
