City of Albany Holds Craft Beer Festival

A celebration was held yesterday for New York-made craft beer at the Albany Craft Beer Festival.

The Capital Region is home to more than 70 craft breweries.

Currently, there are more than 400 in the state.

Jeremy Hosier, the organizer of the event, thanks the state's farm brewery and cider laws for the different kinds of new beverage producers popping up everywhere.

More than 200 types of beer were available for sampling at the festival.

Craft Beer Week wraps up today with a Hangover Brunch at the City Beer Hall in Albany.
