"We celebrate the past, but we imagine more for everybody's future...and we do it one individual and one family at a time. That's the only way it works." - Karen Carpenter Palumbo, President and CEO of Vanderheyden
Each and every day over 400 people are served with residential services, educational services and community services through Vanderheyden. Providing that care is nothing new for the organization which began as the Troy Orphan Asylum in 1833. So much has changed since then, but Vanderheyden President and CEO Karen Carpenter Palumbo points out that what began as a small group of people looking for solutions to the community's problems is in essence still the same.
In this podcast learn about the ways Vanderheyden is helping individuals and families. And learn why Carpenter Palumbo believes that a wonderful future can be achieved for everyone, but it has to happen one individual and one family at a time.
