Impatient Customer Pulls Gun at Albany McDonald's

Albany police are investigating an incident in which an irate customer threatened an employee at a McDonalds with a handgun.

On Saturday night, officers responded to McDonalds, located at 391 Central Avenue.

An employee told officers that a woman who was upset about not receiving her food fast enough, entered the store and began to yell and curse at employees inside the restaurant.

The employee stated that the customer then walked back to her car in the lot and backed up to the drive-thru window. While at the drive-thru window, the woman continued to yell and also displayed a black colored handgun by pointing it at employees inside.

The woman then fled in the vehicle without her food.

No shots were fired or injuries reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 27-years-old, 5’8,” 130 lbs.

She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark pants. She fled in a dark colored sedan.

The incident remains under investigation.
