LISTEN: Sean Spicer Visits Saratoga, Sounds Off on Omarosa

Ahead of his stop at Northshire Bookstore in Saratoga Springs Wednesday morning to sign copies of his new memoir "The Briefing: Politics, the Press and the President;" former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer joined WGY's Chuck and Kelly.

In an extensive interview that covered topics ranging from the earliest days of the Trump White House and Actress Melissa McCarthy's portrayal of him on Saturday Night Live; Spicer addressed the accusations being hurled at the President this week by former adviser Omarosa Manigault-Newman.

"Another thing that irritates me is that she [Omarosa] is being taken seriously by a group of people who dismissed her during her entire tenure in the White House," Spicer said, "and now suddenly because she has a story that's negative about the President; are putting her on all of these shows and not even giving her the standard journalistic treatment of asking her to substantiate the claims."
