UPDATE: CBS New York reports the plane has landed safely at Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY.

Rapper Post Malone and 15 others were aboard a Gulfstream jet that had to make an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon.

The private plane took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and soon reported two blown tires.

The plane was originally heading to London where he had multiple concerts planned. The pilot had to circle for several hours  to burn off most of its fuel before attempting to land.
