Albany Woman Charged with Hate Crime, Stealing From Disabled Athletes

A happy ending for a group of sled hockey players, some of whom traveled to Colonie from Vermont.

Police believe 36-year-old Tabatha King of Albany got into the locker room at the Albany County hockey facility on Sunday and made off with $800 from the players' wallets, which has since been returned to the victims.

Police arrested and charged King with a hate crime, since the victims have disabilities. She's also charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana.
