Fake Robbery Call Over $20 Bet Leads to Arrest of Albany Teen

Police, the Albany Fire Department, and Mohawk Ambulance, all respond to Morris Street and South Lake Avenue, after reports of a robbery and a man stabbed in the arm.

After an investigation, police say that 17-year-old Tysean Bobo of Albany called 911 himself and made the entire incident up as part of a $20 bet with a friend.

Bobo is charged with falsely reporting an incident and Obstruction of Governmental Administration.
