Bank Employee Injured During M&T Bank Robbery

There was a major police presence at two locations after an armed bank robbery late Tuesday morning at the M&T bank branch in North Greenbush.

Police say two men entered the bank and were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

North Greenbush Police Chief David Keevern has confirmed that shots were fired as the men left the bank and that one employee was injured when a bullet grazed her arm.

The suspects fled the scene and police swarmed a Motel 6 on Watervliet Avenue Extension and apprehended.
