A new report says an aide to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand resigned over how the New York Democrat handled a claim of sexual harassment.
Politico reports the unidentified aid stepped down last Summer and condemned Gillibrand for choosing to go against her outspoken belief that harassment of any kind shouldn't be tolerated.
Gillibrand, who's now running for president, is one of the biggest champions of the #MeToo movement.
The former staffer claims that three weeks after she complained that a male aide close to Gillibrand made unwelcome advances toward her, she became the target of retaliation.
