Cohoes Mayor Shawn Morse Offically Loses Primary to Bill Keeler

It's official, incumbent Shawn Morse is not the Democratic candidate for Cohoes Mayor. Absentee ballots were counted Tuesday morning leaving William Keeler with an overwhelming lead over the incumbent. Keeler won with 1,052 votes to Morse's 935.

Meanwhile, absentee ballots counted show a tie for Cohoes city council's 5th ward between Kathy Donovan and Adam Biggs, each receiving 286 votes. This comes after 19 non-democrat voters may have voted in the primary. There is a possibility of a re-vote being held.
