Speaker Nancy Pelosi is launching a formal House impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Speaking at the Capitol, Pelosi said no one is above the law and noted that the President must be held accountable. The California Democrat accused Trump of pressuring a foreign government to investigate former VP Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
At the UN, Trump insisted that he did not pressure the Ukrainian president and he accused Democrats of engaging in another "witch hunt." President Trump is scheduled to meet with the president of Ukraine today at the UN General Assembly.
