There's a proposal for the area's first Costco. An application for a special use permit was filed by an entity that is associated with the Pyramid Companies that operate Crossgates Mall and Commons.
The Times Union is reporting that the proposed Costco would be at the Rapp Road entrance to Crossgates Mall on Central Avenue. The proposal is for a 16.5 acre, 158,000 a square foot store.
News Channel 13 was the first to report the proposal.
