Governor Cuomo is reporting the state's first coronavirus death. The victim was an 82-year-old woman who passed away at a New York City hospital after being admitted on March 3rd. She reportedly had an underlying respiratory illness, for which she was previously hospitalized. Cuomo also announced an additional one-hundred cases, bringing the total in the state to 524.
