An incident involving police is under investigation in Albany.
Mayor Kathy Sheehan is releasing a statement addressing videos posted on social media that show an arrest in Albany's South End on Tuesday.
Sheehan says in her statement that the footage does not appear to show efforts by police to de-escalate a situation and says that the treatment of the individuals being arrested falls short of the standards of the Albany Police Department.
All charges associated with the arrest have been dropped and the incident is being referred to the Office of Professional Standards.
