Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says there are 44 new cases of coronavirus in the county, some of which are linked to Fourth of July gatherings a couple of weeks ago.
He says the people in the county have worked hard to stop the spread, but letting your guard down for just a little bit can have a huge impact.
At least six new cases in the county were linked to a Fourth of July party on Hudson Avenue in Albany and other cases are linked to people traveling to and from other states and even Cancun.
