Cuomo Expands New York Travel Advisory, Says Bars Weren't Supposed to Open

Governor Cuomo announcing in a briefing today that the state never authorized bars to reopen. Last week, the Governor mandated that in order to drink at an establishment a customer must be seated and have ordered food. There have been many complaints across the state about bars not following state guidelines, but Cuomo says they were never supposed to open in the first place and that local officials have not been enforcing it. Additionally, the Governor announced 10 new states added to New York's travel advisory, bringing the total number of states requiring travelers to quarantine once entering New York to 31.
