Thanksgiving is less than a month away, and New Yorkers are being urged to celebrate it a bit differently this year. Officials suggest any family events should be held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The hope is by having fewer people gather, it lowers the risk of folks getting infected.

New Yorkers can still travel but will need to quarantine for two weeks after returning from states with a high number of COVID-19 cases.
