Governor Cuomo's new guideline to allow out-of-state travelers to get tested for COVID instead of a 14-day quarantine began Wednesday.

The new policy mandates that anyone visiting the state must test negative upon entry to New York in order to avoid a two week quarantine. The new rules do not apply for anyone coming into New York from New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania. Cuomo added that New Yorkers who return home from another state, outside the tri-state must take a COVID test within three days of returning.
