NY Dept. of Labor Gets Grant Money From Feds to Help Fight Opioid Crisis

New York is receiving $1.5 million to help fight the opioid crisis.

The US Department of Labor is adding funding to an opioid crisis grant for the New York Department of Labor. The over $1.8 million grant will go towards helping support addiction and overdose prevention in 22 counties, including Columbia and Greene Counties. The money comes from the National Health Emergency Dislocated Worker Grant which is meant for areas that are significantly affected by the opioid epidemic.
