Beginning Friday, New Yorkers are going to see some new rules in place aimed at slowing the spread of coronavirus across the Empire State.

Starting at 10 p-m, gyms, restaurants and bars will have to close since they're locations that have been connected to a high number of cases. And, private gatherings at individual homes are being capped at 10 people until further notice. Governor Cuomo said Thursday the statewide COVID-19 positivity rate is still lingering just below 3%.
