Albany Police are investigating an early morning shooting.
Police say they got a call from Albany Med around 3:15 Sunday morning that a 26 year old man went to the hospital after he was shot in the hand.
The man told police he was walking on Slingerland Street when two people approached him, stole his backpack and shot him in the hand.
Police say the victim was treated for non life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating.
