Albany Police make an arrest after a homicide in the city Saturday night.
Police say 27 year old Kristopher Castanon stabbed his mother to death on North Manning Boulevard.
Police say 53 year old Denise Castanon was stabbed several times in the torso. She was taken to the hospital where she died.
Police say her son, Kristopher, was found near the scene and taken into custody.
He is charged with murder and scheduled to be arraigned in Albany Criminal Court.
