A former correctional officer with the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office has been arrested.
Schenectady Police say 28 year old Eugene Sellie faces a felony assault charge after a man was seriously injured earlier this month.
Police say they responded to a call for an injured man on November 9th near Albany Street and Veeder Avenue.
Police say the man told them he was assaulted by an employee at the Schenectady County Jail. After further investigation, police arrested Eugune Sellie.
The injured man was treated at the hospital for a fractured clavicle, fractured ribs, and a collapsed lung.
