Thanksgiving is later this week, and Governor Cuomo is asking New Yorkers to have smaller gatherings than usual.

He says due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, people need to do their part to prevent the illness from spreading among their friends and families. The governor believes if the proper precautions aren't taken, the statewide coronavirus-positivity rate could approach double digits quickly. Right now, it's below three percent.
