With the statewide infection rate around five-percent, Governor Cuomo is trying to calm fears over the spread of COVID-19.

The governor said Tuesday that this current surge won't be as bad as the one this past Spring. He believes hospitals are better prepared to handle a growing number of patients and more people are doing their part to protect themselves. He expects this current increase in cases to stabilize in January.
