Starting on Friday, Albany International Airport will offer free coronavirus testing to employees.

An FDA approved saliva test will be used, and results should take about 48 hours to receive.

Officials say this move is being made to protect people during the busy holiday travel season.

Albany International Airport CEO Philip Calderone tells WGY News that coronavirus testing for travelers will likely be offered later this month. The test will cost $30.
