The State Liquor Authority continues to suspend liquor licenses for establishments it says are violating coronavirus related regulations.

So far the authority has handed down 279 license suspensions since the pandemic began. On Tuesday, another 36 suspensions were announced, most in New York City, but there was one establishment in the Capital Region, Larry's Tavern on 8th Avenue in Watervliet. SLA investigators say that on October 30th, they observed numerous customers standing, drinking and walking around the tavern without facial coverings. Investigators say that saw a bartender without a facial covering, and they say they also noticed that no customers were required to purchase food with their alcoholic beverages.
