Pandemic Expected to Impact Future Cancer Numbers

COVID-19 has hit cancer care in a variety of ways. Some diagnosed individuals had care delayed at times because of reduced services being available due to the pandemic. In other cases individuals delayed treatment because their economic situation has changed. In this podcast with Diane Donato, Julie Hart, the Senior Government Relations Director for New York State for the American Cancer Society Action Cancer Network talks about remedies for those challenges. She says early detection can save lives.
