Capital Region Still Digging Out After Massive Snowstorm Rocks Area

News 10 ABC

People across the Capital Region will be spending their second straight day digging out from a massive snowstorm.

Snow started falling on Wednesday night and by the time the flakes stopped flying yesterday, some locations saw over 30 inches of precipitation. The storm also caused trouble on the roads as crews struggled to clear a safe path for drivers to travel. A state of emergency has also been declared in several counties including Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rensselaer.
