Governor Cuomo is calling on the federal government to prevent a new strain of coronavirus from reaching the United States.
He says the federal government needs to restrict or ban travel from the United Kingdom where COVID-19 cases have soared lately. Officials believe a new version of the illness there is 70% more transmissible than the virus that has already devastated the United States.
