Albany County Executive Dan McCoy is again asking people to stay home in an effort to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The request comes as 156 new infections are reported as well as the deaths of two more residents. McCoy says the number of cases have gone up since the start of the holiday season and there are concerns things could get worse. McCoy is also urging folks to take simple steps like wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines to limit their exposure to germs.
