Governor Cuomo is calling on hospitals statewide to speed up the process of vaccinating people against COVID-19.
The governor said Monday that hospitals who don't comply with his request could be fined or run the risk of losing access to vaccines in the future. So far, only 46% of the vaccine sent to the Empire State has been used. The state has also set a goal of having all nursing home residents vaccinated within the next two weeks.
