Capital Region Sees Slight Drop in Number of New COVID-19 Cases

New data from the state shows the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 in the Capital Region has dropped slightly.

The area's seven day average infection rate has dropped from 10.1 % Thursday to 9.2 % Saturday. However, that number is still the third highest in all of New York behind the Mohawk Valley and Long Island. The state's current infection rate is 6.2%.
