New York State Expanding Eligibility For COVID-19 Vaccine Monday

Starting Monday, over three million more New Yorkers will be eligible to start receiving COVID-19 vaccine.

People like firefighters, teachers, public safety workers and residents over the age of 75 can use an online portal on the Department of Health website to sign up for their vaccinations. However, it may take weeks for them to actually get vaccinated depending on how many doses the state receives. Those shots will be administered at places like pharmacies, medical offices and hospitals.
